Abstract: Genome editing technology is expected to be one of the saviors for stable crop production in the future changing environment. In this international symposium, we will discuss the current social demands and regulations for genome editing technology in various countries and regions around the world, and discuss the global trends and the future that Japan should take, with the latest information introduced by domestic and international parties concerned.
