The 2nd International Summit on Human Genome Editing will be held in Hong Kong on 27-29 November 2018. This three-day summit will be co-hosted by The Academy of Sciences of Hong Kong, the Royal Society of London, the U.S. National Academy of Sciences, and the U.S. National Academy of Medicine. The Lee Shau Kee Lecture Centre of the University of Hong Kong will be the meeting venue.
This Summit will bring together a broad range of stakeholders, including researchers, ethicists, policy makers, clinicians, patient and disability groups, and representatives from science and medical academies and organisations worldwide to examine the science and ethical and societal issues relating to human genome editing.
